Vendome Mall – Doha, Qatar
New Project
We have been appointed by United Developers to undertake evacuation modelling for the currently under construction Shopping mall in Qatar. Upon completion the mall will have approx. 230,000m2 gross leasable area with various amenities such as shops, Food & Beverage area, Entertainment zone, Snow village, Cinema, Spa, A canal(river) and more. The scale / size and different type of occupancies in the mall create a unique challenge for emergency evacuation. FEC International is currently developing multiple computer simulated evacuation scenarios which will become the basis for developing the mall’s evacuation strategy and emergency action plan.
